Together in Education: Harris Teeter & CISSC

As students across South Carolina gear up for another school year, they often face challenges that go beyond the classroom—like hunger, insufficient school supplies, and limited access to vital support. At Communities In Schools of South Carolina (CISSC), we are dedicated to breaking down these barriers, ensuring that every student, no matter their background, has the opportunity to flourish both in school and in life.  

That’s why we’re thrilled to share that Harris Teeter has chosen CISSC as a beneficiary of their Together in Education Round Up Campaign! This partnership will help us make a real difference for students in our communities.  

How It Works 

Now through October 28, 2025, customers shopping at one of Harris Teeter’s 263 stores in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Delaware, and Virginia can choose to “round up” their total to the nearest dollar at checkout.

This campaign is an easy way to support our mission—no special event, no extra trip—just a simple “yes” when the cashier asks if you’d like to round up.  

Remember, every cent counts. These small contributions add up to make a meaningful impact in our local communities, directly helping a few organizations, including CISSC, that support students in need.
