Communities In Schools of South Carolina Named as a Top Workplace in S.C.

Dear Friends, Partners, and Supporters,  

Today, I am incredibly proud to share some exciting news with you. Communities In Schools of South Carolina has been named a 2026 South Carolina Top Workplaces Award winner by Integrated Media Publishing.  

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it was based entirely on feedback from our team members across South Carolina. Through a confidential survey administered by Energage, our staff shared their experiences working at CISSC, highlighting a culture where people feel supported, valued, empowered, and connected to purpose.  

While this award recognizes our workplace culture, it also reflects the partnership and community that surround our work every day. To our staff, school districts, principals, and school site partners, board members, donors, volunteers, and community partners–thank you.  You are part of what makes CISSC special. Together, we are building an organization where people can thrive while helping students do the same.  

As we approach our 40th Anniversary in 2027, this recognition serves as both a celebration and a reminder of what is possible when mission-driven people come together around a shared purpose. I could not be more grateful for the commitment, passion, and heart that each of you brings to this work.
